SUMMARY:Lance Brock Train Open House
DESCRIPTION:Lance and Vickie Brock are going to host our Train Club for our first Railroad Open House of the 2020 season, postponed from June now to July 25. We all know how hot the days can be in July, so Lance has chosen to host this open house in the morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Also, due to the Covid pandemic, this will be a traditional open house rather than a “carry in lunch buffet” as was originally planned. Wearing face masks is voluntary and social distancing is recommended. As most of you know, Lance has a lot of scenic landscape features on his garden railroad, including a water feature. Much of the railroad is protected by a canopy of shade trees so visitors are out of the direct sunshine. Our last visit to this railroad was back in July of 2017 with a large attendance and picture perfect weather. Naturally, we are hoping for the same kind of weather this time as well.
