Road trip to EnterTrainment Jct.

It has been several years since our Club has organized a trip to visit the World’s Largest Model Train Display (25,000 sq. ft.) of mostly G Scale, we will view up to 75 trains all operating at once in very highly detailed and realistic scenery.

New for many of us is the yard scene where visitors can push one of two buttons, and one of two large steam locomotives will back out of the round house onto the turntable. The turntable then rotates and aligns up with the coal tipple track. The loco automatically backs and spots itself under the coal chutes. Push the button again, and this locomotive returns to the turntable and back to the roundhouse stall from where it started. Utterly fascinating!

If you would like to carpool, meet at Randy and Jacquie Banks Church, which is Castleton Christian Church. It is located at 7214 Hague Rd. Indianapolis, IN. Meet in the parking lot at
9:00 a.m. We will depart from there for our drive to Cincinnati (Westchester, OH.)

Group rate tickets are $15.00 per person and an additional $5.00 option for a back stage tour. We should arrive at EnterTrainment Jct. by around 11:30 for lunch and train exhibit touring. Don’t forget, there is also a Train Hobby Store plus a Gift Shop on site that you are free to visit.

Depending on what time we leave, we should be back in Indianapolis between 5:30
