David & Sharon O’Haver – Open House Recap 2019

We had great weather for an open house a few weeks ago! David and Sharon’s new garden layout reflects the hard work they poured into this wonderful creation. It was exciting to see all the garden colors and the long bridge over the pond! David said a bridge was one of his top requirements when he started planning the layout. In addition to the garden layout, they setup a loop of track in the grass to run another train. All in all, everyone had a great time outdoors with trains and sunshine! A celebration of Marion’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Gravel Lawn Cemetery Chapel beginning with Masonic Memorial Rites. Friends may call at the chapel on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will follow the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gravel Lawn Cemetery Chapel, Good Samaritan of Hamilton County or the Fortville Masonic Lodge No. 207. 4014 Big Boy!

Bud Hunter was able to go catch some of Big Boy’s action on the high iron in Rochelle, IL this past Tuesday after it had been on display in West Chicago. “This is an amazing steam locomotive!” – Bud
