August 3, 2011 – We are glad to announce that David and Grace Berrey of Indianapolis have joined the ILSR. We look forward to meeting them at an uncoming event to find out more about their interest in Large Scale railroading. David said "I took a tour sponsored by this club several years ago. A member recommended I join. I recently retired and am ready to spend more time on the Garden RR and would like to meet others in the hobby locally."

Big Turnout for Chester Open House!
July 18, 2011 – The Layout Open House at Andy and Pattie Chester's on Saturday July 16, 2011 was apparently very well attended. Check out the excellent Jeff Carter photos (like the picture of Andy and the Empire Builder shown at left).

Outstanding Denison Open House
June 27, 2011 – The outdoor Garden Railroad season for ILSR officially kicked off on Saturday June 25, 2011 at the Denison's Rose Rock and Crystal City Railroad. Lynn has made a number of changes since his 2008 Four Club Tour Open House. Check it all out in the Second Section of THIS PAGE.
