And a good time was had by all…

November 16, 2013 – Excellent year end meeting! Members old and new had a chance to get together and chat, featured speaker Chris Schultz gave us an optimistic insider's view of the G Scale industry and information about his plans for a retail store in Dayton, the snack table had about a gazillion calories worth of outstanding snacks, we finally heard the last from the old, worn out President, we got some previews of plans for the coming year from our bright new President and Vice President in charge of programs and least of all, we got to see a 1:1000 scale train layout running in a G scale gondola car. Thanks to all who attended and helped.

A Train Ride AND Pizza

September 22, 2013 – Yesterday 33 ILSR members and guests boarded the newly christened 'Blue Arrow' at Hobbs Station in Noblesville for a trip to the 'Pizza Shack' in Tipton, Indiana. We all enjoyed an evening of fine dining and visiting with family and friends, new and old. Your webmaster was proud to have grandson PFC Kyle, USMC as my family guest. Full photo coverage will be provided in the next ILSR newsletter.

Two Great Open Houses

August 26, 2013 – On Saturday, August 24, 2013, we had an excellent 'Two for One" open house event a block apart in Lebanon. The Hunter's and the Bowman's had the layouts looking great and a number of members turned out in excellent weather to enjoy the shows. A big thanks to Bud and Nancy and to Rex and Nancy. …and the Winner is….

August 17, 2013 – This just in from ILSR Member Bob Pifer who drove over from Royal Center to meet us for the Taltree and Moose Lines Tour:

Hi All,
FYI – I was fortunate for attending the club visit to Taltree. I won the Hartland Army Train Play Set offered as a door prize. And I had a great time visiting with the club. It was a win-win situation.
