October 23, 2012 – REMINDER – Our Program Chairman has arranged a meeting at Watts for Saturday October 27, 2012. You can enjoy shopping and comments from Dave Watts at 1 pm, club meeting at 2pm. If your culinary or shopping skills allow, please bring a snack for the grazing table.
September 22, 2012 – Since Randy and Jacquie Banks had spent a long hot summer preparing their railroad for the 2012 Four Club Tour, they decided to invite the club for an open house so that those who were working the Tour could see what they had done. The new sights included a "Depot' storage shed, a revised track layout to allow running 4 trains at a time and lots of landscape and trestle upgrades, among many other projects. Photos HERE.
September 21, 2012 – Great turnout for the ITM Pizza Train/Club Picnic! Many thanks to Lance Brock for the idea and the execution. After all the work he did to be a big part of the Four Club Tour, he and his helpers turned right around and organized one of our most successful club events in recent times. We had 41 members and guests and 8 future G-Scalers. UPDATE: The pictures are posted HERE.
August 15, 2012 – Last Saturday, August 11, 2012, eight ILSR members visited Entertrainment Junction north of Cincinnati. The program of continual improvement means that there is always a lot to see that is new. It was the first time that most of us had seen the on-site hobby shop; it was an excellent G-Scale shop with many other items also. Many areas of the train layout have been improved and a G-Scale amusement park is being added on the second level.
After the EJ tour, some of us visited the beautiful Cincinnati Union Terminal for a railroad memorabilia show and sale. We also toured Tower A to watch the busy rail yard next to CUT. Excellent trip! Thanks, James.

July 23, 2012 – It was typical of our Four Club Tour volunteers to show a great attitude as well as to demonstrate a willingness to work hard. One of the many excellent examples of both of these attributes were bus guide members Bill and Betty Harryman from Taylorville, Illinois! Yes, Illinois (about four hours from Indy), they were able to make a pre-run of their bus route while visiting the Indianapolis area and then stayed over the night before the event and the next day, also, to be sure they had the time necessary to handle their assignment. And, most important, they apparently had a good time, according the the vey nice note that they sent. Thanks again, Bill and Betty and to all the volunteers.

December 1, 2011 – As I hope you are aware, on Saturday July 14, 2012, your club will be hosting four clubs that will come to our area to tour several of our member's layouts. Before the tour, we will host a lunch with some special exhibits. One exhibit will be a slide show. This is an opportunity for you to help and to become recognized for your model railroad skills at the same time. We need high resolution pictures of your layout, train collection or other related items. Please send them to your friendly webmaster and I will assimilate them for Ron Loudermilk to magically turn them into a slide show. Dan Perrott will set up the show equipment. If you have questions CONTACT me HERE. We need your pictures by December 20, 2011. Thanks!
