January 16, 2014 – We are pleased to welcome New Members Jeff and Alecia Larkin of Carmel to the Indiana Large Scale Railroaders club. They found us at our January 4, 2014 Indiana State Fairgrounds Great Train Expo modular display. They are currently accumulating track in preparation for building a layout. Hope to see you both at future ILSR events.

January 6, 2014 – The Indiana Large Scale Railroaders Modular Division, with help from other members, put together a great modular display at the Great Train Expo show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Watch it in action HERE. We had a good crowd on Saturday January 4, 2014. Unfortunately, the impending snow storm forced the organizers of the show to cancel the Sunday event so we packed up and left Saturday night. Disappointing, but fun while it lasted. Thanks to all who helped and attended.

January 1, 2014 – Welcome to the New Year! Bud has started another New Year with his usual excellent job with the ILSR newsletter. There are articles about how to save money on your dues, about our outstanding new officers, about the end-of the-year meeting, how to make a long-lasting tunnel portal for outdoor use, the new location of the Watts Train Shop and the 2014 calendar. WOW! What a great start for 2014!!

October 31, 2013 – Your Newsletter is in the mail and is also available right HERE on your website. Bud has done another excellent job. Included in the Newsletter is the Ballot for ILSR officers for 2014/2015. Bud also would like to be sure that everyone "will figure it out that with the way that the address is printed, a double fold is the only thing that works. Also, taping the ballot closed on 3 sides would assist in it arriving intact."

October 23, 2013 – We pleased to say that our recent module display at the Fairgrounds attracted yet another new member to the club. Please welcome Andrew Jones of Kokomo. We hope to get a chance to meet you, Andrew, at our coming events.

October 22, 2013 – The Indiana Large Scale Railroaders club has three new member families. Brad and Valenda Loar of Bloomington, Indiana joined us for the Pizza Train trip then came to the Train Show at the Fairgrounds and became members. Also joining at the Fairgrounds Show were Rob and Kathy Kunkle of Peru, Indiana and John C. and Mitsy Niemeyer of Noblesville, Indiana.

Welcome to all three families, we hope to see you at our November 16, 2013 Year End meeting in Noblesville.
