At the same time, we would like to find out more about what direction you think that club should take in the future. A Board member will be calling you soon for this information. Thanks very much for your help, David Palmeter, ILSR President 2012/2013

ILSR March/April 2013 Newsletter Finally Online

March 30, 2013 – My apologies to our hard working Newsletter editor, Bud Hunter, for my error in completely skipping over the online version of the March/April 2013 Newsletter that he sent to me on March 1, 2013. I trust you all got it in the mail okay but for those who like the all-color version, it is finally here. Once again Bud has done an excellent job keeping us informed and entertained. Thanks, Bud!

Belated Farewell to Steve Sever

February 13, 2013 – Last night Bud Hunter told me about the passing of member Steve Sever. Today Bud sent me the article that will appear on the March/April, 2013 issue of the ILSR Newsletter.

"Steve Sever of Waldron, Indiana passed away November 28, 2012 at the age of 72. Steve and his wife Sharon have been ILSR Club Members since 2006 and have hosted two Open Houses for our Club. Steve previously had both Lionel and HO Trains, but when he and Sharon attended the Ameriflora Show in Columbus, Ohio in 1994, Steve saw a his first Garden Railroad and told Sharon “That’s something I’d like to do”. He made his dream come true."

You can see the incredible German-themed railroad that Steve and Sharon built HERE. Our deepest sympathy to Sharon and the Sever family.
